SEA Defence stands for Survivability, Electrification, Automation, Detectability, Enabling Foresight of European Naval Capabilities in Extreme conditions. Developed within the scope of EDIDP (Defence Industrial Development Programme), the project began on December 1, 2020, and will be active for 30 months. SEA Defence aims to prepare a roadmap of technologies to be included in next generation of naval platforms and pursued in further European development programs. The SEA Defence consortium relies on a shared conviction: against the background of the rapid emergence of new threats and new technologies, industrial cooperation at the European level is not an option but a necessity.
